Recent performance. This has nothing to do with what you have done in your career as a whole, but about how you are playing right now.
The lowest introductory Tier is Tier 3 and the highest is Chief Oga, that can only be occupied by one player.
Within each tier there is a Level 1,2 and 3. So once you are a Tier 2 Level 3 for example, that means you are close to becoming Upper Tier 2 Level 1
Then you remain at the ranking you were at before you got injured. So if you were Upper Tier 3 when you got injured, you will keep that ranking until you come back and get assessed.
Dude came up big time. And that’s what it’s all about with these rankings. It’s not only performing well, but its on what stage you do it on. And I’m always big on the CL and the major international tournaments.
There have been many tall keepers, like Dida for example, who don’t always use their size to good effect. But Luigi Don appears to take up the whole goal, and just like his namesake, he has excellent reflexes, and can always pull out an incredible stop.
To be so young and so good, just shows the incredible potential that he has. It was a big boy performance that he had at the Euros, showing his quality both in open play and in the shootout.
He’s got to be careful though, as if he does not concentrate on his game and he allows the distractions and laid-back nature of PSG to consume him, he can easily just fall by the wayside and not realise his full potential, which could end up being the GOAT in the position.
Talented player. And someone who fits the mould perfectly for Barcelona. All he just needs is the game-time and guidance for him to improve and become a pretty useful player.
It’s hard to determine where he will be. He has the typical attributes of a good Spanish midfielder. Technically gifted, always with his head up looking for the pass, and more times than not makes the right pass. And has good balance and control, which is very key for a midfielder.
He just needs to play more and be in more intensive games so that we can see just how good he can be. Until then, all we can say is that he is a real good talent but nothing more. Perhaps, he may need to make a move to a team and manager that shows faith in him as a regular starter.
